European electricity markets aren't broken. They're optimized for a grid that no longer exists.

Technical founders who model complex systems for a living often build organizations of unnecessary complexity. The skill that makes them great engineers makes them dangerous org designers.
The adaptation trap: when the workaround becomes the process and nobody remembers why
Organizations adapt to dysfunction by building workarounds. Over time, the workarounds become the process. Nobody questions them because nobody remembers the original failure they were designed to avoid.
"Climate forward" means nothing. Here's what your company actually is.
Companies that call themselves 'climate forward' are using aspiration as a substitute for structural commitment. The label feels good but describes nothing about how the organization actually operates.
Defense didn't steal climate tech companies. The absence of climate markets pushed them there.
Climate tech companies pivoting to defense aren't being seduced by military budgets. They're responding rationally to a market structure that doesn't value what they built.
